All Pumps
American Made Pumps
Since the 1980’s, Giant has been producing a variety of American-made pumps. From the original axial design to the standard triplex plunger pump, Giant caters to a variety of markets. Utilizing German and American engineering as well as home grown ingenuity, Giant produces the GX, P200 and P300 pumps in the Toledo, Ohio plant. Made to adapt to belt drive or various direct drive applications, let’s help keep America working by buying American.
Bentonite Pumps
These pumps are designed to handle the various types of Bentonite mixtures, which are often found in drilling fluids often used in directional drilling, hydro-excavating and other processes in which the soil is prone to collapse without the Bentonite solution. These pumps range from 3 GPM (12 L/min) to 132 GPM (500 L/min).
Brine Pumps
For applications in which the water has a high salt content and/or some hydrocarbons, the Giant series of Brine pumps have been designed with corrosion-resistant materials. Most of these pumps are run on a continuous basis, so reliability is a key factor in choosing the correct pump size. Customers in the shale oil/gas drilling industry rely on these pumps to dispose of brine water, frac flow and wastewater in an efficient manner.
CO2 Pumps
Pumping liquid CO₂ requires unique challenges to high pressure pumps. CO₂ has a tendency to go to a gaseous state, so strict control of the temperature and pressure on the inlet and discharge of the system will help maintain the CO₂ in a liquid state. Typical applications can be industrial laundry cleaning, CO₂ re-fill stations and cleaning of parts with CO₂. These pumps have a flow range up to 52 GPM (196 L/min).
Corrosion-Resistant Pumps
Pumps that can withstand the corrosive effect of certain types of fluid are classified as corrosive-resistant. A pumps ability to withstand corrosion is based on the type of materials used in the fluid end of the pump. Corrosion-resistant pumps will normally have valve casings made with Nickel-Aluminum-Bronze, AISI 316 stainless steel or Duplex stainless steel. Typical applications for these pumps are reverse osmosis (desalination), brine pumping, waste-water injection, chemical processing, humidification, misting, and degreasing/cleaning for industrial applications. These pumps have a flow range up to 105 GPM (400 L/min). In addition, Kamat’s line of pumps are available with duplex stainless steel, so this increases the range to up to 1000 GPM (4000 L/min).
GP Series
Designed and manufactured in Germany, these premium industrial pumps are meant for continuous duty applications. With a power range up to 150 Hp (110 kW), these pumps are used in a variety of heavy duty applications from steel processing, water hydraulics, fire suppression, sewer jetting, boiler feed, truck washes, waste water re-injection, jetting, deburring, liquid CO₂ and other industrial applications. Flow ranges from 4.8 GPM (18 l/min) to 132 GPM (500 L/min) and pressure range is up to 15,000 PSI (1000 Bar). Temperature range is up to 220 °F (105 °C). Fluid end materials range from nickel-plated cast iron, forged brass, bronze, nickel-aluminum-bronze, 303 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel.
GX Series
The GX Series is a high-end consumer/light industrial pumps which provide a reliable source of cleaning power for the home owner and/or small shop. These pumps are compact and easy to maintain. Made in the U.S.A., they are sold throughout North America and are a good alternative to inexpensive home center products.
High Temperature Pumps
While all pumps can handle a certain degree of high temperature, some pumps are specifically designed to withstand the extra high temperature found in some fluid solutions in applications, such as carpet cleaning, boiler feed, hot-water pressure washers and other industrial high temperature applications. These pumps have a flow range up to 42 GPM (160 L/min). Two types of high temperature pumps are available, namely 195 °F (95 °C) and 220 °F (105 °C) versions. In general, many of Giant’s standard pumps can operate with high temperature fluids, so other possibilities exist beyond those listed in this section.
Kamat Pumps
These German-made pumps offer extremely long life and reliability. Designed from 20 Hp (15kW) to 1000 HP (800 kW), these pumps have a flow range of over 1000 GPM (4000 L/min) and can handle pressure exceeding 50,000 PSI (3500 Bar). Kamat pumps handle a large variety of fluids, such as high viscous, water or fluids loaded with solids. Most of these pumps have integrated pinion gears with balanced crankcases, allowing them to achieve over 90 percent energy efficiency. Other key attributes of these pumps include: Modular construction, which make special design and single piece production possible; simple operation and maintenance; reliable gearbox, which is space-saving, self-adjusting and quiet. Service can be performed without disassembly. Double helical gears prevent axial forces and give long bearing life. Pinion gears are available for a variety of input speeds. Gear ends can run from 10-100% (depending on rod load). No external oil pressure supply needed. Materials sourced from local suppliers with high quality control. One piece pump head design to increase seal life. Pump head does not need to be removed to service seals and valves. Wide range of common parts used. Complete conversion kits available to change flow/pressure in a single pump.

Machine Tool Pumps
High pressure pumps that are used in the machining process will assist manufactures in the production of various metallic parts. Because machine tool coolant has special characteristics, special designs are often used to make sure that the pumps operate as needed. These pumps will help a machine cut metal faster and with more consistency. The flow range of these pumps are up to 26 GPM (98 L/min) and pressure range is up 5000 PSI (350 Bar).
